However, it can be used within figures of speech such as similes, metaphors, and hyperbole to enhance the expression or create a more vivid image. For example: Simile: “Her smile was as interesting as a mystery waiting to be solved.“ Metaphor: “The book opened up a whole world of interesting ideas.“ Hyperbole: “I’ve told you a million times, but you still find it interesting.“ In this lesson you will see the various ways one can use other words instead of saying...
