Heavy rain caused flash flooding in Arkansas, with the Conway metro area among the hardest hit. Residents of the Conway area did their best to contain the rising water by placing sandbags at the entrances to their homes and businesses, but some of that was to no avail. The homeowner said it was the worst flooding she’s seen in the 24 years she’s lived on Brien Drive. As for Conway itself, flooding is known to be a recurring problem.
