Nureyev at the Kirov

As I said in my upload ‘Rudolph Nureyev in 1961’, there has been a lot of chat on this YouTube site over the last few years about what happened to Rudolph Nureyev stylistically, technically and artistically after he defected from the Kirov Theatre in Leningrad. I am now uploading snippets of three further performances of Nureyev shot while he was still at the Kirov Theatre in Leningrad (as the theatre and city were known at the time before his defection). These three snippets are from ‘Swan Lake’ (1957),
