🎹 Nick Cave: the Early Years - childhood home, school and church, Wangeratta, Victoria. Born Nicholas Edward Cave in Warracknabeal, Victoria in 1956, Nick moved to Wangeratta with his father Colin Cave and mother Dawn Cave. Nick sang in the choir at Holy Trinity cathedral and briefly attended Wangeratta High School before being expelled. He was sent away to board at Caulfield Grammar where he met Mick Harvey who became his musical collaborator in bands: The Boys Next Door, The Birthday Party and Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
