It doesn’t take long after the ease of the college days before nostalgia sets in. Those semi-annual refunds are over, you’ve traded that dorm room for a low budget apartment, a 9-5 consumes all your time, and your anxiety has shot through the roof. For budding artist Nëither, nostalgia ultra hits hard in a new single “Grown”. From the first lines of this record two things are clear: (1) Sallie Mae has come to collect what’s her’s, and (2) None of us were truly ready to grow up.
The new visual too picks up as Nëither is in a race against the clock to pay his rent, which is already 10 days past-due. With a quick trip back to the 70s, (a fitting scene that complements some groovy bass lines in the record) Nëither has just hours to collect the money, before his landlord comes to collect her space. Check out the self produced visual and song now.
