Malta Moreyë - mystic elven song with Quenya lyrics

This is a calm elven piece for November using photos from last year. The lyrics are written in Quenya, a constructed language by . Tolkien. The costumes are inspired by the Lord of the Rings movies. The white signs are not Tengwar however, but Sarati - an older writing system in arda. I think, they were forsaken when the Tengwar were invented and turned out to be much more practical for the languages in use. An English translation of the lyrics: Gold and Night, Fire and Sky, in stormless wind*, they all came to peace, to peace after their terrifying dance. Gold and Night, Fire and Sky made jewels through a dance. *súlë in Quenya is not just “wind“ as moved air but rather something like a metaphor for the influence of a spirit on the world.
