Testing Tiangong-2 for New Space Mission

Designers of China’s second orbiting space lab Tiangong-2 is busy engaging in testing the lab for a new space mission starting in the third quarter this year. Having completed assembly of Tiangong-2, China will send the lab into space in the third quarter this year. In the fourth quarter, the country will launch the Shenzhou-11 spacecraft with two astronauts on board to dock with Tiangong-2. Implementing space science experiments and applications, the astronauts will stay in space for 30 days.
