They Fear My Approach (The Plague Doctor)

As I wade through the streets, they fear my approach. They know,when I am there, death lurks around the corner, death is omnipresent. Note : Plague doctors were primarily there to relieve suffering, there was no real cure for the plague, so apart from lancing pus-filled buboes and some other quackery, they didn’t really have much value as doctors. Moreover, it indeed often happened, due to a lack of knowledge, that they actually helped spread the plague. but it’s not the point of this song
