Men Without Hats were never an album-oriented band, so Collection does the casual fan a favor by compiling all of their hits -- namely “The Safety Dance“ (included in its original single mix) and “Pop Goes the World“ -- onto one disc. While many of the songs aren’t as strong as those two singles, they are enjoyable new wave artifacts, making the compilation a fun nostalgia trip.
