Mini-documentary about Jacaranda’s 2009 185-musician performance of Messiaen’s “Song of the Deported,“ written in 1945 to celebrate the liberation of the Nazi concentration camps. Interviews and performance are cut with historic still images from various camps including Birkenau, Mauthausen and Auschwitz.
