Chuck Berry’s great number, also known as C’est La Vie and Teenage Wedding which many remember from the diner scene in Quentin Tarrantino’s Pulp Fiction movie. Our regular pianist was absent for this session but Phil “Two Watches“ Mead does an excellent job standing in for him. The rest of the band are Kit Packham (vocal & alto sax), Tracey Mendham (tenor sax & vocal), Simon Da Silva (trumpet), Steve Knight (guitar & vocal), Alex Keen (double bass) & Kenrick Rowe (drums). The venue was the Hideaway in Streatham and the date was 11th May 2014.
