Think About War - Fog of War

Excerpts from the film ’The Fog of War: Eleven Lessons from the Life of Robert S. McNamara’ meant to elucidate what we are really getting into when we start wars and give individuals the ability to annihilate our planet. Robert Strange McNamara served under Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson from 1961 to 1968 as US Secretary of Defense and as a Captain in the Air Force for 3 years during World War 2. He knows more about American war policies probably moreso than any man alive. He was also the architect of the Vietnam war, but resigned from office in 1968 after the Tet Offensive because it was a catastrophe and the American people had found out the US government had been lying through their teeth about what was happening in Vietnam. Hopefully his faults will one day save us from our own.
