Available for download (streaming and purchase) on all digital music platforms! „Love will find a way“ developed during a recording session on the island Sylt one star-studded November night in 2007. We had rented a house situated quite romantically between the dunes. During a break of the session we were enjoying a smoke outside in the garden. The night was icy cold, stormy and clear and the edge of the Milky Way shone brightly above our heads. All at once and to our collective amazement a bunch of UFO’s shot across the night sky and for the next hour we debated excitedly over what the heck it might have been. At some point during this chat, Rainer, out of a whim, tinkled a totally compelling chord-progression on his piano, which caused an immediate stillstand of our conversation. In an instant we were chasing after this one blissful inspiration. Such races often tend to be fruitless as it is close to impossible to recapture moments like that, just as it is with the UFO’s. But this time it worked out. Within just a short while we had written „Love will find a way“ and since then it has become Alphaville’s traditional staple for the Christmas season. We hope you enjoy the song as much as we do. It comes straight from our hearts and maybe from those of our alien friends who cruised above our heads that fateful night.
