Ruslan Provodnikov fight of the year 2013

Provodnikov lost a close unanimous decision to Timothy Bradley on March 16, 2013 for the WBO Welterweight Championship. Provodnikov was given the fight to serve as an easy target for Bradley, who was looking for a confidence booster after a controversial fight with Manny Pacquiao. Bradley came out on the attack mode early, fighting in an uncharacteristically aggressive fashion.
