The band’s name is a combination of “one“ and and “we shine on you,“ which speaks to the members’ ambition to shine on everyone and become one in the name of music. With exceptional talents in songwriting and lyric-writing, the five young musicians never fail to impress listeners. Not surprisingly, the quintet is expanding their audience reach both at home and abroad, and their single “Q“ entered the Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart in April last year. Each member boasts his own distinctive musical talents, so their music is versatile and kaleidoscopic, yet harmonious. Tune in to I’m LIVE and meet these talented, ambitious five artists! 손닿을 듯 가깝고 생생한 음악을 선물하는 도심 속 라이브 콘서트 [I’m Live]. 실력 있는 뮤지션들과 공연을 사랑하는 시청자들의 사랑을 한 몸에 받고 있는 [I’m Live] 187회의 주인공은 오늘보다 내일이 더 기대되는 5인조 보이밴드, 원위이다. 팀명 ONEWE는 We Shine On You의 We와 하나라는 뜻의 One이 합쳐진 이름으로, “세상을 밝히는 우리(We)의 힘으로 진정한 하나(One)를 만들어 나가겠다“라는 강렬한 포부를 담은 그룹명이다. 멤버로는 용훈(메인보컬), 강현(기타), 하린(드럼), 동명(키보드, 보컬), 키아(베이스, 랩) 5인조로 구성되었으며, 연주와 노래는 물론 멤버들이 직접 작곡, 작사, 프로듀싱 등 모든 음악 작업을 자체적으로 진행하는 올라운더 밴드이다. 특히 작년 4월 발표된 정규앨범 선공개 곡 ‘모르겠다고’ 를 통해 미국 빌보드 월드 디지털 송 세일즈 차트 12위에 진입하는 대기록을 세우며, 차세대 K-밴드로 대중들에게 원위의 이름을 서서히 각인시키고 있다. 또한 발매 앨범마다 멤버들이 가지고 있는 각기 다른 에너지가 모여 밴드음악에 한정적이지 않고 넓은 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여주며 모두의 주목을 받고 있다.
