Dating to the post-Vietnam era of the mid-to-late 1970s, “The Green Scene“ was a periodically issued U.S. Army film series, that promoted various aspects of Army life. In this episode (number 8), the focus is on the Army’s travel agency / vacation and recreation services, the importance of having a school diploma, the history and legacy of the U.S. Army’s infantry, and a look at the U.S. Army’s role in disaster assistance featuring images of the 1972 Nicaragua Earthquake. This is circa the 1970s.
