Davis was a well-known American director and producer who created non-fiction films for social guidance purposes. This particular film depicts what must steps must be taken by a police officer responding to an automobile accident. It opens with an image of an African American woman sitting unconscious behind a wheel following an accident (:13). An on-duty officer takes the dispatch from his car radio (:31). He then arrives on scene as a pedestrian checks the unconscious woman’s pulse (:41).
