The event attracted an estimated 200,000 people who were met with cold inclement weather, replete with rain and mud. The general atmosphere of the concert was compared to the Woodstock Festival of 1969. Concert 10 represented a successful revival of the American summer rock festival after the repeated failure of U.S. festivals during the previous two years. Footage highlights include: hippie couples sitting and lying in the grass (:46), couple huddled in blanket trying to keep warm (1:40), tent with George McGovern for President sticker on it (3:22), muddy ground (3:41), man in blanket boogies to the beat (3:50), viewers sit on scaffolding to watch (4:00), porta potties seen in a row (6:17), large marijuana joint passed by shirtless man (6:20), sign for Conshohocken, Pennsylvania visible in the crowd (6:25), man drives motorcycle through the crowd (6:27), man plays guitar (6:30), another joint is passed (6:40), naked man sunbathes (7:03), wide shot with what appears to be the Pocono racetrack visible (7:15).
