Munich (German: München) is the capital of the German state of Bavaria and besides an industrial center also a major tourist destination. On this summer evening we walk around the inner city, visiting several sights after sunset. Starting from at the Marienplatz, the central square of the city, we see the town hall and several nearby churches. We pass the Hofbräuhaus on our way (have a peek inside here: ) to the Bavarian State Opera (Bayerische Staatsoper). There we see the exclusive shops on our way to Odeonsplatz and the Hofgarten.
