Elephant House Quartet - Telemann’s Garden Release Teaser

First release for my new Baroque Quartet - Elephant House Quartet! Available on the PENTATONE label webshop and digitally worldwide on October 11th, 2019. Elephant House Quartet was formed as the fruit of love for Baroque chamber music. Recorder player Bolette Roed, Japanese gambist Reiko Ichise, harpsichordist Allan Rasmussen and violinist Aureliusz Goliński convened to spark and inspirit. Each musician comes from different backgrounds and each with distinct musical personalities. Each member has contributed to many recordings and broadcasts throughout their established careers. On this album, they gather here to inaugurate their long adventure ahead. We are performing the Allegro movement from G. Ph. Telemann’s trio sonata for violin, recorder & basso continuo (excerpt from “Essercizii musici“) in A minor.
