Apples in sunlight - outdoor still life - Live Oil painting

For today’s Foxton Friday paintalong (Friday 25th October, 2024) I’ll be painting a colour study from a reference photo of some apples from the farm orchard, taken outside, in sunlight. This kind of lighting really changess what happens to the light and shadow colours in comparison to indoor light, so I’ll be talking a lot about that as I mix and paint with the colours. We might even push the colours a little too for fun :)
