A year ago at this time, David Blatt was basking in the glow of his first Euroleague Title, won as the coach of Maccabi Tel Aviv in Israel. And when he was hired a month later as the head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers, it was done on the strength of his resume of 17 international titles over a 21 year career.
