This video depicts laparoscopic repair of a left paraduodenal hernia performed by Dr Deepraj Bhandarkar. This is a rare form of internal hernia in which loops of small intestine are trapped in a sac behind the colon on left side of the abdomen. Repairing the hernia laparoscopically allows the patient to recover with less pain and rapidly.
