Special Announcement + Caitlin Rose Look | Makeup Geek

PLEASE READ!! This video is dedicated to Caitlin Rose Allio- a vibrant young lady who passed away 3 years ago from a horrific and rare disease called Juvenile Batten Disease. She was only 22 years old. Caitlin lived most of her life blind, having grand mal seizures, and in the end of her life struggling in an almost vegetative state. Families are left to care for these children and are burdened with massive medical bills because of the intense care required. Not many children in the US have this disease, yet sadly the Allio family has had two children with this: Caitlin and their youngest daughter Annie. I wanted to bring awareness to this horrible disease but also to create a purple look that Caitlin would love in memory of her (Caitlin loved purple!).
