Xavier: Renegade Angel Remastered

A recreation of the phonebooth scene from Xavier Renegade Angel S1 Ep10. As I mention at the start of the video, this was a good scene to replicate to become familiar with facial mocap. I’m happy with this result for my first attempt but I need to work on expressiveness moving forward. Rendered in UE5. The animation is a motion capture performance using a Rokoko smart suit II. The mocap data was cleaned up in Blender. Xavier’s model comes from an old contest that was hosted by the creators of Xavier. I upped the resolution of the model and changed a few things around. I originally updated his hair but i couldn’t get it to have that classic Xavier look so I just ended up keeping his hair as is honestly the most jarring thing in the video. Frittata!
