Watch total lunar eclipse LIVE from LA observatory
A total lunar eclipse will be visible from Los Angeles’s Griffith Observatory on Saturday, April 4. The key moment of the celestial event will be observed at 12:00 GMT, when the Moon will be completely eclipsed.
The phenomenon, which occurs when the Moon moves into the shadow cast by the Earth, filters the sunlight and glows with a red colour, will be visible across southern California.
