The Razor Is Absolutely 100% Mechanically Perfect. The razor head doors open and close smoothly. This wonderful collectible razor has all its teeth, None Are Bent. It is purported to be non-aggressive and to provide a truly excellent shave. The razor has been cleaned, polished, pampered, and disinfected using antibacterial soap and Barbacide, it is shave ready. Gillette 1930’s open combs are considered some of the best razors that Gillette ever produced. This razor is the predecessor to the beloved Senator and has the same head and overall design, but the door attachments match the earlier 1930’s British and American TTO’s. We believe the earlier attachment provides a little greater detail and makes the razor slightly more attractive than the Senator.
