Led Zeppelin - Live in Oakland, CA (July 23rd, 1977)

As requested by Ethan G., here is the band’s first of two shows in Oakland, California on their 1977 American tour. These would turn out to be the band’s final shows in America owing to the untimely death of Robert’s five year old son, Karac. This particular show is also infamous for the “Oakland incident“ which took place backstage, in which a member of promotor Bill Graham’s staff was beaten (first by Bonham, then by manager Peter Grant and security coordinator John Bindon) for striking Peter Grant’s son, Warren. Bonham, Grant, Bindon, and tour manager Richard Cole were all arrested and charged with assault. They received suspended sentences and fines. 0:00 Intro 0:50 The Song Remains the Same 6:10 The Rover/Sick Again 13:21 Nobody’s Fault But Mine 21:35 Over the Hills and Far Away 29:26 Since I’ve Been Loving You 38:53 No Quarter 1:03:24 Ten Years Gone 1:14:13 The Battle of Evermore 1:20:58 Going to California 1:27:33 Black Country Woman 1:29:15 Bron-Y-Aur Stomp 1:36:59 Trampled Underfoot 1:44:59 White Summer/Black Mountain Side 1:53:33 Kashmir 2:03:06 Guitar Solo 2:12:32 Achilles Last Stand 2:23:01 Stairway to Heaven 2:35:32 Whole Lotta Love 2:37:09 Rock and Roll 2:42:19 Black Dog Bootleg: Alpha & Omega - Second To The Last: Oakland 1977 1st Day (Magic Bus)
