This group of guys from Los Angeles, California only achieved regional airplay on this 1985 “New Wave“ classic. Song was released on MCA records during the summer of ’ in NYC it got a lot of airplay. But outside of a few major markets, it had little airplay.
Unfortunately it didn’t receive any chart action despite sounding so much like “Peter Gabriel“!
The lp, however did hit # 105 and charted for 10 weeks.
This rare side, to my knowledge, was not released on any cd.
The group consisted of “Gene Shashuk“ on vocals, “Michael Becker“ on keyboards & “Paul Revelli“ on drums.
They did however release 1 more lp on MCA titled:“When The Sun Goes Down“, it reached # 175 on the lp chart.
