September 24, 1997 - Dracula 64 is one of the most eagerly awaited titles for Nintendo 64 so it comes as no surprise that Nintendo releases little to nothing about the game on a regular basis. Fortunately, the big ’N’ has finally been kind enough to let the public in on a few of the game’s tid-bits. Not only will players have the option of playing Schneider Belmont, the vampire hunter hero, but three other characters as well. Cornell renhart, Kola, and Carrie Easterfield make up the four and each has their own unique style and attributes. While Schneider, for example, uses his trusty whip to advance in the game Cornell Reinhart engages in hand-to-hand combat. Players, however, will not be able to switch characters throughout gameplay. Gameplay consists of traveling through the land of Castlevania, a world infested with bloodsucking vampires who sleep by day and hunt by night.
