Ama Divers and Tsunami - Short Documentary Film

Ama(海女) are Japanese woman freedivers who catch sea urchins. Ama enters into a trance state while diving. I felt euphoria after eating a sea urchin. It is shamanic (also Dionysiac). I was positive that just as there were shaman among Native Americans, Indio, Aborigine, Bushmen, Pygmy and Eskimo all of which categories are hunter-gatherers in primitive society, there was such a person among the Ama as well. This is a short documentary film based on my real experience, attempt to unravel a mystery with a shamanistic approach to the connection between Ama and 2011 Japan tsunami.
