Golden Oil Refinery Najaf Progress Update April 2023

Al Shabaka - Al Thahabiya Golden Oil Refinery gave the famous VDU project to SPEC Oil & Gas FZCO in 2019. Despite the pandemic’s difficulties, the project is expected to be successfully finished in 2023. Through the provision of end-to-end services from Design Engineering through Operations and Maintenance, SPEC played a crucial part in supporting the project. Two (02) Trains of 8500 BPSD Vacuum Distillation Units (VDU) were to be built, including with all necessary utilities, tankages, loading/unloading facilities, auxiliaries, and buildings. Procurement, Fabrication, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations Management were used to manage the project, showcasing SPEC’s proficiency in planning and carrying it out. Overall, the accomplishment of this project demonstrates SPEC’s dedication to offering top-notch services to the oil and gas sector.
