Ewan Dobson - Paganini - Sonata No. 2 (M.S. 84) Minuetto & Allegretto ossia Rondoncino

Paganini’s solo guitar work was said to have been inspired by a “Signora Dida“ of Tuscany. When he was 18 a three-year gap appears in his history that none of his biographers can fully account for. It was said he retreated to a wealthy woman’s country estate in Tuscany. This Signora Dida loved guitar and suggested that Paganini take up the instrument.
