Mel Y. Chen (link to: ) Assistant Professor, Gender & Women’s Studies Mel Chen, a GWS Assistant Professor and Interim Vice Chair for Research, has a PhD in linguistics and works at the intersection of critical race theory, science studies, linguistics, sexuality, and disability studies, with articles in Women and Performance, GLQ and Discourse.
