How to Use the Kato Clasp Template

Findings are very hard to find for polymer clay creations. Frequently, polymer creations are large and finding a clasp suitable for the size and scale is difficult. For that reason, many of us make our own findings of polymer clay. This is one of mine. I designed the clasp and made an acrylic template so you can make it, too. Recommended clay is Kato, of course. It’s resistance to change when exposed to body heat, makes it ideal. Whatever clay you choose, make sure it’s sturdy and durable.
