Special Victims Unit (SVU) Highlight

The Special Victims Unit (SVU) is a dedicated team a part of the Sheriff’s Office committed to combating heinous crimes involving human trafficking, sexual assault, child abuse, elder abuse and many other crimes. From 2023-2024, the SVU detectives arrested 148 subjects and rescued 81 victims who were offered victim services. From conducting proactive operations, busts and investigations our team will continue to fight for the voiceless to combat these crimes.
