PM WARNS ST KITTS NEVIS NOT OPEN TO HUMAN TRAFFICKING

Following the humane treatment of rescued Haitians and Cameroonians last year, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew said legislative amendments are ahead that will send the message that the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis is not open to human trafficking. The Prime Minister briefly updated the country on the status of the two groups of nationals, who were rescued from sinking boats off the east coast of St. Kitts, when he addressed the matter in a 13th February Cabinet Press Conference.
