The ‘Villages Housing Multi-Child Families’ project has welcomed its first family. Meet the Morozovs and their 10 children, who fled Latvia to start a new life in Russia, as they settle into their new home. Their first day was a touching scene at the local school, with a crowd gathering in numbers the village hadn’t seen in over 20 years. The Morozovs are the first family to move to Rukhan village under the ‘Villages Housing Multi-Child Families’ project. Now, the primary focus is on providing them with everything needed not only to live comfortably but also to adapt smoothly. After a well-earned rest following their long and, without exaggeration, dangerous journey, the Morozovs visited Rukhan Secondary School. Here, their six younger children were immediately placed in their new classes.
