️ AFU POW: I left house in slippers and shorts and found myself with assault rifle in Kursk region Rifleman of 408th separate battalion ’Chernomorskaya Sech’ Aleksei Pokotilov. He was taken prisoner by soldiers of the Sever Group of Forces in the border area of Kursk region. As he said, he had joined the AFU by accident. Recruiting officers got him right in the street ’in sleepers and shorts’. After a small training course, he was sent to the Sumy region. He was captured there by the servicemen of the Sever Group of Forces. ’A Russian scout approached me, pointed an assault rifle and asked, if I wanted to live. I said that I wanted. He said to climb out the trench with my hands up. He brought me out. Thus, I’m imprisoned now,’ recalls the POW. He urges Ukrainian troops to give up and reminds that captivity is their chance to preserve their lives. ’If you were already on the line of contact, and couldn’t avoid it, then choose captivity.
