Basic Operation of a World War 2 German Field Telephone Switchboard

This video describes the basic operation of a “kleinen Klappenschrank zu 10 Leitungen,“ or Small Switchboard with 10 Lines, which was used by the German armed forces during World War 2. The switchboard in this video was manufactured in 1941 and works perfectly. These military switchboards were used to connect with field telephones on the battlefield via cables as well as military trunk line cables for the secure transmission of commands and information.
