Tweakwood: Making a rustic oak coffee table set with large box joints

In this video, I use very rustic oak beams to build four pieces of furniture. The clients had designed the pieces already, and asked me to use solid wood and to incorporate box joints into the design. The use of the very rustic oak turned out to be quite the challenge, with lots of defects and holes to be filled. For this, I used mainly clear epoxy. The entire process took a great deal of time and supplied me with about 3 hours of video footage. I distilled it down to the bare minimum, about 7 minutes worth of woodworking. I hope you’ll enjoy it. If you like this video, please click the thumbs up button, leave a comment and subscribe.
