駆けろ！スパイダーマン!! Back in 1978, Toei made a deal with Marvel Comics that allowed Toei to develop properties based on Marvel Comics for four years. The first show they did was Spider-Man (Toei no Supaidâ-Man). This version of Spider-Man differed greatly from the Marvel comics version, as Spider-Man now had a super car called the Spider Machine, and a giant spaceship; Marveller that transformed into the super robot Leopaldon. Marveller, incidentally, was named in homage to Marvel Comics.
