This is a rather bawdy song with salacious lyrics, and shows the kind of humour that would have been found in the culture of the courts of the era in Spain. I used the pronunciation of the era when it comes to the “j“ sound, which had quality more similar to the English pronunciation of the word “rouge“ as in Moulin-Rouge, rather than the current Voiceless velar fricative found in Castilian Spanish accents, which is how I would pronounce it normally.
