Video tutorial: Wedding ring quilt block

Time to make a fun block. This is a take on the traditional wedding ring block. I made it in an improv fashion using the paper ring as a stabiliser. Use a combination of strips and triangles as you go around the ring. Then sew the circular pieces to the ring. I tried using fewer pins around the curves for one of the pieces  and it was ok, so lots of pins aren’t necessary though it feels safer. Blog post: Template:
