Autonomous Orange Harvesting Robot

A video of my Postdoc research at the University of Florida from 2005. The focus of the work was to automate the process of picking oranges with a robot. This was research was to develop an alternative approach to manual picking or using the bulk “automated“ solutions that shake or knock the oranges out of the trees.
