Meet Apollo Moon, Baidu’s New-Gen Robotaxi

Say hi to Apollo Moon, our new-gen autonomous vehicle for ride-hailing! Created with BAIC Group’s ARCFOX, a fleet of 1,000 Apollo Moon robotaxis will be built over the next 3yrs. Costing just RMB 480K (~$75,000) to produce - only one third of the cost of average L4 autonomous vehicles - these cars mark a major milestone in commercializing autonomous driving. Baidu Apollo Moon utilizes the “ANP-Robotaxi” architecture, a leading navigation pilot product combined with a customized LiDAR and corresponding unmanned redundancy functions.
