But Brazil’s land area is also massive, and it takes up almost half of the entire South American continent. It’s also comparable to the size of the contiguous United states. In fact, the northernmost point of brazil is closer to Canada than it is to Brazil’s southernmost point. This means that this point is also closer to every other country in the Americas than it is to Brazil’s southernmost point.
