Live Jam 200 (One Hour of Live Looping with Ableton Live)
Live looping with Ableton Live, with sounds from the Moog Mother-32, Moog Grandmother, a Fender Rhodes, and NI’s Kontakt. All looping is done with a DataLooper and a pair of Novation Launchpads. The iPad is running MIDI Designer Pro 2, acting as an Ableton remote. Native Instruments KompleteKontrol 25 and 49 keyboards are used to trigger the Mother-32 pair and the Kontakt instruments.
The nine performances were recorded in May 2020, with no pre-recorded loops or pre-sequenced tracks. Feel free to ask questions in the comments.
