Russian artillerymen in action Artillery crews of 122-mm D-30 howitzers and 120-mm 2S12 Sani mortars of the motorized rifle formation of the Center group of troops provided joint fire with fire support for the offensive of Russian units, destroying the fortifications and command post of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Avdeevka direction. Firing was carried out from closed firing positions with high-explosive fragmentation shells at camouflaged enemy fortifications and command posts along the path of further advance of our groups. Operators of Orlan-30 unmanned aerial vehicles were involved in target designation and adjustment of fire. The joint combat work of the cannon artillery and mortar battery made it possible to create a barrage of fire and prevent the enemy from carrying out defensive actions.
