Climate activists smear paint over Gucci Christmas tree in Milan

Climate activists threw orange paint over the Gucci Christmas tree in Milan, Italy early 29 December. The act was executed by activism group Last Generation in protest of luxury brands’ non-sustainable business models. They claim the orange paint is “washable.“ Police arrested the protesters, however, some had glued their hands to the platform of the tree.
